A research team led by Supervisor of the China Chemical and Physical Power Sources Association (CIAPS) visited Yinghe Technology
On July 21, a research team led by Zhang Yu, Supervisor of the China Chemical and Physical Power Sources Association (CIAPS), Secretary-General of the Power Battery Application Branch, and Founder/CEO of Battery China Net, visited Shenzhen Yinghe Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yinghe Technology") for discussion and exchange of views with the company's key executives, including President He Aibin, Director of the Research Institute Li Wei, and Vice President of the Marketing Division Zhao Chunxiang.
"Yinghe Technology has built a comprehensive portfolio of lithium battery equipment solutions that combines in-depth experience in the power battery area with strategic positioning in emerging fields such as energy storage and heavy-duty truck batteries. Its products serve lithium battery production across diverse sectors, including power batteries, energy storage, heavy-duty commercial vehicles, eVTOL, and humanoid robots." By market segment, He Aibin provided a detailed introduction to Yinghe Technology's forward-looking layout and technology upgrade strategies in the fields of energy storage cells and heavy-duty truck power battery equipment.
"Currently, there is a pronounced trend of large cell development in energy storage sector. From 314Ah to 588Ah, there is a tendency toward even larger capacities such as 700Ah and even the thousand-ampere-hour level," said He Aibin. He noted that Yinghe Technology has precisely positioned itself in the large-cell area, focusing on R&D and taking the lead in the industry by launching specialized lithium battery equipment such as ultra-high-speed multi-station notching-and-stacking integrated machines and large-scale energy storage assembly lines, preemptively meeting the process upgrade demands for the mass production of large-capacity energy storage cells.
For heavy-duty truck power batteries, due to installation space constraints within the vehicle, ultra-large-format cells are impractical, resulting in diverse specifications and structural limitations. He Aibin pointed out that the non-standardization of cells for heavy-duty trucks is a prominent feature, imposing differentiated process requirements on production equipment in terms of adaptability and forming precision. Yinghe Technology can provide customized equipment solutions based on customers' needs.
Regarding emerging market deployments, Zhao Chunxiang noted that the limited and irregularly shaped spaces available for batteries in humanoid robot torsos and eVTOL wings impose extremely high requirements on battery equipment. Equipment manufacturers must be flexible and capable of customized non-standard equipment design, thereby helping customers achieve battery energy densities of 330 Wh/kg or even over 500 Wh/kg within confined spaces.
Furthermore, during vertical takeoff and landing, eVTOL batteries must withstand instantaneous discharge rates of 5C or even exceeding 10C. Similarly, humanoid robots performing complex movements experience high instantaneous currents. Under such extreme operating conditions, even a minor battery defect could trigger thermal runaway;. Only more precise equipment can produce safer aviation-grade batteries. Yinghe Technology's solid-state equipment layout spanning both dry- and wet-process technical routes is highly aligned with emerging market needs and is expected to gain a first-mover advantage in the mass production of next-generation batteries.
